VoIP telephony
System has been developed in order to deliver to mines a solution similar to cellphone connectivity which we are using on the surface. AT-VoIP makes it possible for the miner to establish calls between his hand-held telephone and any other subscriber in the mine-wide telephone network. It is also possible to establish communication between belt conveyor control&communication systems (SSP series) as well as with the longwall automation system (SSG series).
AT-VoIP can be made as a stand alone system or adapted as an additional solution to already exisiting systems (such as ATUT-Location, ATUT-MFE, etc.).

Application
Voice over Internet Protocol, is a method for taking analog audio signals, like the ones we know from the phone, and turning them into digital data that can be transmitted over the Ethernet network. In case of AT-VoIP system access point becomes a network gateway for the telephone carried by miner.
With this technology it is possible to interconnect the handheld telephones (AT-Tel) with any other telephone unit (analog or digital) already connected and existing in the network. It also possible to establish a connection with belt and longwall automation systems (SSG and SSP series).
