Underground and surface integration
- Connection via IMC modems and IKC concentrators underground
- Computer network on the plant surface
- ATVoice software linking voice communication with computer workstations
You select a subscriber like a phone number and talk. ITC is an intrinsically safe digital telephony system that operates where an explosion may occur or the zone becomes hazardous.

A standard telephone cannot be present in an explosion‑hazard zone. Yet voice communication is essential there. ITC provides it in an intrinsically safe design.
Each device has its own address, like a phone number, so you connect with a specific subscriber. The display shows a list and the status of everyone, indicating who is available and who is busy. Instead of numbers, you assign custom names to the points, creating a practical contact book.
ITC connects hazardous zones with the central supervision point or the plant control room via modems and concentrators, while the ATVoice software links voice communication with computer workstations. When close to the ATUT loudspeaking bus, it broadcasts messages and retransmits signals where needed.
