You can make calls via WiFi to another AT‑TEL, a CUKS device, a telephone connected to the corporate PABX, or to the mine network via a VoIP gateway; a single telephone connects you to the entire facility voice network.

What it is
The AT‑TEL intrinsically safe telephone provides voice communication via a wireless WiFi network using VoIP technology. You can connect to another AT‑TEL directly in PTT mode or via WiFi, to CUKS loudspeaking devices, to a telephone on the surface via a PC application simulating VoIP, and to the underground or surface telephone network via a VoIP gateway.
