IKA-1/D - Intrinsically safe digital camera
You can install the camera where other devices cannot operate; the Class I M1 intrinsically safe design and built‑in battery maintain video feed even in the highest methane explosion hazard zone and during power failures.

// DESCRIPTION
What it is
The IKA‑1/D intrinsically safe digital camera transmits video via a 100Base‑FX fibre‑optic Ethernet interface or a 10/100Base‑TX wired interface, with optional 2.4 GHz WiFi connectivity. You record in H.264 or MJPEG compression, up to 25 frames per second, with a 32x zoom and remote focus adjustment.
An infrared illuminator with a range of up to 60 metres and a light intensity sensor automatically switch the camera to night mode. The built‑in battery maintains continuous operation even during temporary power supply failures, while unidirectional audio and local recording on a micro SD/SDHC card complete the package.
You will install it in rooms at risk of methane explosions, within device category I M1, the highest explosion protection class.
