ZIM-BX - Intrinsically safe switching power supply
An intrinsically safe switching power supply for electrical and electronic mining installations, especially control and signalling systems. It features two independent output paths, an LCD display, and an RS‑485 port for remote reading on the surface.

What it is
ZIM‑BX powers electrical and electronic mining installations, especially intrinsically safe control and signalling systems. Stabilised output voltages also power microprocessor controllers.
It can have two independent output paths with different current and voltage values, tailored to project needs. An LCD display shows output voltage and current values, and an RS‑485 port allows them to be read remotely, on the mine surface.
It maintains reliable output voltages even with unstable input voltage: from 30 V to 75 V in the "L" version (direct or alternating current) or from 80 V to 250 V in the "H" version.
