Chemicals - safety, tightness and installation monitoring in hazardous areas

In a chemical plant, a hazard does not wait. A leaking substance does not give a second chance; it is corrosive, toxic, or explosive, and often all at once. We started thirty years ago eight hundred metres underground, where the atmosphere creates hazards without warning. We bring this same vigilance to your installation: we guard tightness, we guard people, we guard technological processes before a minor leak or failure turns into a disaster.

// Characteristics

We did not start with chemicals. We started in a mine, in the toughest explosive hazard zone that exists. Methane, coal dust, water, cramped spaces, and equipment that simply is not allowed to fail because there is no escape route down there. For thirty years, we have built devices for these conditions. This is where our speciality comes from: electronics that work where standard ones refuse.

A chemical installation poses different challenges than a mine, but the same rule applies: the margin of error is zero. Here, the medium can be corrosive, toxic, and volatile. A leak of chlorine, ammonia, or solvent leaves no time to react. That is why the equipment we deliver to the chemical zone is designed with the same rigour as the equipment we designed for underground use: it must detect the hazard early, operate reliably, and not succumb to the harsh atmosphere.

We do three things at once, because in the chemical industry they cannot be separated. We guard the installation's tightness to catch a leak before it grows. We guard people to know who is in the zone and where in case of a hazard. And we guard the process so the dispatcher has a full picture of what is happening in the plant. One supplier, one responsibility, thirty years of experience in places where there is no room for compromise.

// Applications

Our systems

Six areas where our technology guards your chemical installation. Each works separately; together, they provide full control over the plant's safety.

01

Leak detected before it grows

The first particles in the air are the last moment to react. We catch them when the concentration is still safe.

  • Continuous atmospheric monitoring and early detection of hazardous substance leaks
  • Immediate alarm and notification to the dispatcher and emergency services
  • Sensors derived from mine gas monitoring, proven where gas kills
02

You know who is in the zone

When an alarm goes off, one question matters: who is left inside. We have the answer in real time.

  • Location and recording of personnel in the hazardous area
  • Quick evacuation confirmation, you know who has left and who has not
  • Intrinsically safe communication with every point of the installation
03

The entire plant on one screen

The dispatcher cannot guess. We provide them with a full, up‑to‑date picture of what is happening at every point of the installation.

  • Real‑time visualisation and monitoring of process parameters
  • Data logging and alarms when limit values are exceeded
  • Integration of signals from various devices and protocols into one system
04

CCTV monitoring in the Ex zone

  • Intrinsically safe cameras for hazardous areas
  • Preview of key installation points from the control room
  • Footage recording for event analysis and audits
05

Atmospheric and ventilation control

  • Measurement of concentrations, temperature, and air parameters in halls
  • Ventilation control in response to zone conditions
  • Historical data for environmental and occupational health and safety reports
06

Equipment that never quits

  • Devices resistant to harsh industrial conditions
  • Remote diagnostics and service reducing downtime
  • Thirty years of experience in environments with a zero margin of error
