AT-PGS - Fibre-optic distribution frame
A fibre‑optic distribution frame for quick switching and locating faults in the network. The modular design accommodates up to 144 fibres and connects line cables with teletransmission equipment.

// DESCRIPTION
What it is
AT‑PGS cooperates with single‑mode and multi‑mode fibre‑optic lines as a passive device. It connects to active devices via fibre‑optic cords and cables, serving as an interface between line cables and teletransmission equipment.
The modular design accommodates up to 144 fibres, depending on the adapters used. It allows you to quickly connect a new device to a spare fibre, disconnect fibres from end devices, switch damaged bundles to backup paths, connect new devices to unused paths, perform operational measurements, and locate cable faults.
The distribution frame can only switch fibre‑optic cables in which the fibre radiation power under normal operating conditions or specified fault conditions is less than 150 mW. Consequently, AT‑PGS operates as an element of intrinsically safe transmission networks in rooms at risk of gas and dust explosions. Device category I M1, explosion‑protected Ex ia op is I Ma design, ATEX certificate KDB 14 ATEX 0138X.
