OP-1 - Flameproof (Ex d) fibre-optic gland
A flameproof (Ex d) gland for optical and electrical connections between explosion‑protected enclosures. It connects one flameproof (Ex d) enclosure with another, in accordance with the PN‑EN 60079‑0 standard.

What it is
OP‑1 makes optical and electrical connections in explosion‑protected enclosures, between one flameproof (Ex d) enclosure and another in an explosion‑protected design complying with the PN‑EN 60079‑0 standard, or between different flameproof (Ex d) enclosures.
The OP‑1/S/* version guides a single‑mode 9/125 μm fibre‑optic patchcord; the OP‑1/P/* version guides a 0.5 mm² electrical wire for 5 A. The gland accommodates up to 10 wires, within an M36 x 1.5 thread, and operates in any position.
